Very excited to see this interview of Jessica Hische over at Escape From Illustration Island.

These pictures are from art supply mecca Pearl Paint in New York. However my favorite pencils at the moment are Japan’s Tombow Mono 100’s. Thats right. These are sweet pencils. Using one for the first time is like deflowering your high school prom queen and then writing her a thank you note with a kick ass pencil! Ok that may be going too far. But I like them.

I finally decided to throw up a design for www.fuerstenberg.ca. It’s rather sparse at the moment but I am working on a couple of pieces that should fill it out in the near future.

I was reminded of my time spent in India by this colourful video from the Let’s Colour Project.

Jodhpur, with its imposing fort Mehrangarh and surrounding blue houses, is an amazing place to visit.

Also of note is a simular project in Rio.

Just revisited Jon Klassen’s site and was struck with how he has translated his style to animation. Very beautiful.
